Self Defence

Nothing functions in isolation;
everything functions in relationship with everything else.

(Ray Grigg)

What is romance?

Romance is the feeling of happiness, warmth and affection found in the company of somebody that cares deeply about you.
It is not necessary red roses, candlelit dinners or a box of chocolates.
Flowers cost far less than consideration and respect.
The essence of romance is to be found in how the person treats you, in how special they make you feel.

Romance & tao

Just as a living environment can be arranged to improve harmony, balance can be found in romantic relationships.
Everybody has specific wants and needs.
Finding out what makes somebody happy is a rewarding and enjoyable experience.

Harmony

Harmony can be found by addressing how we interact with another person.
By removing the causes of resistance, a smooth path can be found.

It is essential to consider the way in which we express ourselves through behaviour, words, posture and appearance.

Once accord has been established, the barriers between people soften and fade.

Behaviour

A receptive, open manner relaxes the other person.
Emotional agitation creates unease.

Our behaviour and treatment of others reveals how we relate to the world around us.

If we are mean, greedy, selfish or petty - these qualities will be difficult to disguise for long.
