It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.
(Krishnamurti)

Consider cars:
A car is simply a vehicle: 4 wheels, somewhere to sit and an engine.
Business has made the car seem like a necessary commodity.
Shops are moved away from where people live and jobs are further and further
afield.
Public transport is unreliable.
Insurance, road tax, petrol, car maintenance... all are costly.
Some cars are designed to be a status symbol; a trophy for the wealthy and
the shallow.
Modern living typically involves driving a car to a car park, leaving it
there all day, then driving it home to leave it outside all night.
The car is used for a brief period and spends the rest of the time
stationary.
Rush hour makes driving to and from work stressful and miserable.
Why do you live like this?
Passive
It is easy to go along with what everyone else is doing.
No thought is required.
Just follow the herd.
Authority requires your consent.
You make the world the way it is today.
Tai chi invites you to become
mindful, to be
aware, to
see. To re-consider.
